Our Origin Story
OOMNEE was founded by Logan and Malika Henderson, partners in life and business for 10+ years, whose shared mission was sparked by a global search for something better. Logan, a Navy veteran and serial entrepreneur, and Malika, who immigrated from Uzbekistan at age three, had already built and exited multiple ventures. In pursuit of legacy over luxury, they sold nearly everything they owned to focus on their family and a larger purpose.
While traveling through Asia, they encountered next-generation smart vending systems, capable, fast, and touchless, but something was missing. These platforms weren’t truly intelligent. They lacked AI. They lacked personalization. And they lacked the wellness-first mindset that defines modern consumer expectations.
No existing solution in the US, or abroad, merged advanced automation with nutrition, sustainability, and brand warmth. That realization became their conviction.

Returning to Houston, they set out to assemble the right team and secure funding to engineer and develop the first AI-powered beverage platform in America. This was not just a vending machine, but a personalized, health-forward, digitally integrated experience. Drawing on deep expertise across health, hospitality, and consumer technology, they moved quickly into research, prototyping, and early-stage development to bring the OOMNEE vision to life.
